Catalog, anyone?

So, I got ambitious this morning and started fartin' around with catalogs.

Yeah, you heard me, catalogs...SL can be a marvelous thing at times.  Had a thought that folks might wanta wander off and think about what they wanted first, or look at stuff away from the shops if it was a laggy day.

So I make up a nice bright shiny catalog for my new Bits'n'Blossoms dresses and start to drop it into the Tiny Shoppers' group notice notecard annnnd--oh foo!  What do you mean anything you drop into a notecard has to have full permissions clear through?? Even I don't have full perms on all the scripts...SL can be full of cow farts at times.

Anyway.  Since I had my purrrrrferred catalog set up sitting out and everything, and it's Saturday, I went ahead and made up catalogs of two older product sets, and tossed them all in a freebie giver box at Malchior and at Raglan, the latter of which is very near the Silly Cube if folks wanna rezz a book over there.

(Yeah yeah, I know, hippoBooks can be worn as HUDs...but mine rezzed on edge and all turned around after that, and the HUD was sooooo laggggy.)

So come by and grab some, they're free and SL books are fun & funky.  I'll make more as I go.

Moon's Bits'n'Blossoms Dresses

Here we go, fresh off the Cat Loom:
Moon's Bits'n'Blossoms Dresses.

Thirteen flavors of flowers, fans, leaves, and other goodies, available at Moon's Mad Minis at the main shop in Malchior, or at Moon's Treetop Shop in Raglan Shire.

Gothic Gardens and Alien Invasions

So, I'm thinking...what do vampires and goths have in their gardens?

Wouldn't vampires want something that they could either enjoy at night, or would catch them some lunch?

Raglan Shire is having its birthday month shortly, and the theme is Sci Fi.  I was swirling science fiction notions around in me noggin, and had the thought, "hey--some Halloween and alien concepts aren't really that far apart."

So I'd already messed around a bit with gothic guardian mushrooms that swivel to watch you with asymetrically blinking eyes (though my mushrooms look a bit more Looney Tunes than The Thing From Outer Space), and ditto some eyes, some quite huge, that blink and swivel around to track you.  Tentacle plants?  I have some extremely angry looking plants with growly faces, I suppose I could socket the creepy eyes into the angry plants.  Swivelling guardian gargoyles are not something I've found low prim solutions to yet.

Maybe skull plants.  Or rock gardens with skulls instead of rocks, the plants could use former victims as compost....

Furry Beginnings

Well, if you're reading this, you might be a little curious about a certain tiny blue cat in Second Life.

I have my feet in several games and can talk about Everquest, Diablo, and old Dungeons & Dragons with you (among others), but this blog is mainly about being weird in Second Life. Oh, and having a shop there :) ..or two. Actually three, but I never claimed to know what I was doing.

My home in Second Life is the Weirdlands Forest in Malchior, which is always slightly under construction. But you'll find lions and bunnies in the lower meadow, and some combination of water and trees.

The Purring River, which jumps up in the air, and Mount Meowing with its waterfall, are new additions currently being tweaked, and there'll always be nooks & crannies and hideaways (currently a sparse video game arcade, a Halloween gothic mansion, a fern grotto, and two shops).

And I sell...whatever happens out in my building meadow that I think someone else might like to have. (Yes, I'm going to box up and sell the blinking eyeballs that swivel and stare at you quite soon...did you want those with horror eyelids or just scales?)

My original products were, and still are, a number of different flavors of haunted witch/wizard hats that flap and wriggle whilst on your head.

The ground floor shop is a three level medieval-style building, meant for all types of avatars in SL but currently a bit sparse in products.  Eventually intending it to be some sort of toy, garden, occasional clothing, and gothic combo. (Yes, I'm warped.)

My Weirdlands shop for Tinies (a type of Second Life avatar with a special shape, attitude, and society) goes by the name of Moon's Mad Minis and is a little 2 story capsule floating in a sea of galaxies.

And I have a teleporter between there and a nice treetop spot for my Minis shop in the wonderful Raglan Shire. :)

If you're into freebies, I have Lucky Chairs at all three locations, and Lucky Eggs hatching out at the two Weirdlands shops.

You might encounter me as a small blue striped cat, or a short blue fox girl in blue jeans & T-shirt, a blue tiger girl, or anything else from a bug or dinosaur to a dragon. Yes, my favorite color is blue...how did you guess?

I'll be lurking in the Weirdlands or making a mess in the Raglan Shire Silica Cubicle (Silly Cube sandbox).

Say hi if you see me, hope to see you around!
